Our apologies for being offline in recent weeks. We are now in the process of updating this site and ask for your patience.

We're looking forward to welcoming 'Scoop' John G and his wealth of knowledge when John catches breath and contributes the news and info we all want to know!

John will be with us well before the start of next season...and here's a twist WWWasp has interviewed John Glencross...it was like pulling teeth...however we extracted the fact that Craig Valentine 'Captain Courageous', aptly named by Chairman Willie McKie, will receive the MERIT AWARD from our supporters at the Annual Supporters Player of the Year Dance.

Every other player in the Second Division [remember being there?] could have told us that John!

To further enlighten us John condescended to reveal Alloa's Annual Supporters Club Player of the Year Dance will be held in the Town Hall on Saturday 24th June 2000...now try and get a ticket!

You will no longer find Willie Irvine...inhiscell...at least not from 1st June; Willie has been captured by his soul mate Gillian!
Congratulations
Have a great day and a wonderful married life together.

This is the best WWWasp willingly got from 'Scoop' John G, so the sooner he gets behind his cyber desk the better..ops! almost forgot...in general 'FanTalk' John was singing the praises of Ross County and Clyde saying how well they had done, whilst pointing out that their lads would not be as puffed out as ours, since the Alloa heroes had played over 50 competitive matches this season...nice one.

Better still...our man of fact and news integrity, did not say...BUT WE OF THE WWWasp SOUR GRAPES DEPARTMENT will...that Clyde have never beaten us this season, their best shot was a miserable draw at their home ground...how come we've beat the 'champions' three times and they've never beaten us once...shouldn't we be called the 'Champ's' and Clyde the 'ion's'?...answers in code to anyone that'll listen!

Good speaking with you John, welcome aboard.
